Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lee Arvanitis!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arvanitis moves into the clinch successfully.
Arvanitis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gate drives through with a takedown into Arvanitis's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gate is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gate stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arvanitis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Arvanitis wants to stand up but Gate is controlling him.
Gate drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Gate seems to have locked his on tight now - Arvanitis screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gate, as he picks up the win!

William Gate spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
