Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Manheim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riku Kurikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Manheim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Riku Kurikka!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manheim wants to clinch
and Kurikka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Manheim doesn't manage to clinch there - Kurikka circles away.
Manheim takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kurikka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Manheim tries to close the distance and clinch but Kurikka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kurikka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kurikka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kurikka is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Nice defenses there by Manheim.
Kurikka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kurikka lands with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kurikka cracks Manheim with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kurikka loads up on a big right hand but Manheim slips the punch.
Kurikka misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Manheim on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kurikka uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Kurikka works over Manheim's head and body with a nice combination.
Manheim is rocked!
A cross from Kurikka lands.
Oh Manheim is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manheim takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Manheim walks straight into a right hand from Kurikka - that's dropped him! Kurikka jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Manheim from any more punishment! Manheim complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Riku Kurikka!
