Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nate Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Glenn!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis rushes Glenn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Davis wants a takedown.
Glenn taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Glenn working aggressively here.
Glenn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Davis's efforts to push away.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Davis is trying to break the clinch but Glenn has him pressed against the cage.
Davis is trying to pull guard but Glenn turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Davis has had enough of the clinch but Glenn keeps him there for the moment.

Davis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Glenn to keep the fight standing.

Glenn is pressed up against the cage. Davis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Glenn down to the mat. Glenn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Glenn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat.

Come on Glenn - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Davis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Davis wants to break free but Glenn has control.

That was a close round but I would say that Nate Davis will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

so Glenn counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Glenn wants to get up but he can't break Davis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Davis is adopting a defensive guard.
Glenn trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom.
Glenn is fighting to break Davis's control of his arms but Davis is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Nate Davis just wasn't active enough.
Davis has a takedown stuffed.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Glenn as he jumps to the side.

Glenn wants to stand but Davis has his arm trapped.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Glenn wasn't active enough on the ground.

David Glenn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Davis tries to break free but Glenn pushes him back against the cage.
Glenn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Davis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Glenn blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Glenn is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Glenn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Davis shoots in for a takedown but Glenn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Davis gets a clinch.
Glenn can't get the takedown.
Glenn can't get the takedown.
Glenn's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Davis jumps guard but Glenn stands there with Davis around his waist. Davis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nate Davis showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Davis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
