PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Westen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andres Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel has chosen when i ride on my enemies tupac as his entrance music. Roy Westen has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andres Daniel!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel looks to land a combination. Westen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Daniel wants to clinch up but Westen keeps it at a distance.
Westen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Westen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daniel.
Daniel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Daniel is looking to clinch but Westen is avoiding it.
Daniel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Westen avoids it really well and circles away.

Daniel rushes Westen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Daniel has Westen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Westen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Andres Daniel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Westen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Daniel can pounce on him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Daniel enables Westen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Daniel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well Daniel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Andres Daniel opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
