Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charles Martel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy La Plegua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martel comes to the cage accompanied by Dreams - The Game. La Plegua comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Blut Royale" by Combichrist kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

La Plegua avoids the body shot from Martel.

Martel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Andy La Plegua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

La Plegua tries to bum rush Martel with a series of wild strikes but Martel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Martel takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

La Plegua throws a jab but it's blocked by Martel.
A slapping leg kick lands for Martel.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Martel feints a jab promting La Plegua to slip. Martel then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. La Plegua slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
La Plegua dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Charles Martel will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
and Martel counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts La Plegua! He's just covering up as Martel starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
