Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Giannis Bakos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryan Rabago! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rabago lands a really nice looking cross but Bakos seems unphased.

Bakos shoots in and gets a takedown into Rabago's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bakos controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bakos tries to free his leg and advance position but Rabago is retaining full guard. Rabago keeping moving, preventing Bakos from controlling successfully. Bakos stops Rabago from standing up. Bakos throws a big right hand that misses. Bakos working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bakos wants to control from the top but Rabago keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rabago is looking to stand up but Bakos isn't so interested in that idea. Bakos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bakos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bakos lands a couple of elbows. Bakos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bakos is looking to work some ground and pound but Rabago has wrist control. Rabago keeping full guard, as Bakos tries to pass. Bakos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rabago works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bakos advances to half guard. Rabago looks winded! Bakos seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bakos slips a nice elbow through Rabago's hands, connecting with Rabago's forehead. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bakos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rabago's head. Bakos uses his free foot to push down on Rabago's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rabago. Bakos with shots to the head and body - Rabago looks very uncomfortable down there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bakos is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bakos unloading with bombs! Bakos lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Rabago is rocked! Bakos cracks Rabago with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
