And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferra De Almada shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oliveira manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Oliveira has his foot on Ferra De Almada's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ferra De Almada works his way back into a safe position though.
Ferra De Almada is pushing down on Oliveira's leg trying to pass to half guard. Oliveira is fighting to maintain full guard but Ferra De Almada has managed to sneak the leg through.
Oliveira tries to roll over but Ferra De Almada keeps him under control.
Ferra De Almada lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Ferra De Almada has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oliveira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ferra De Almada gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ferra De Almada avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ferra De Almada drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ferra De Almada jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Oliveira has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ferra De Almada doesn't defend quickly enough and Oliveira has managed to lock this one up! Can Ferra De Almada escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Oliveira on a fantastic submission victory.
