The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dmc closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Dmc wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lobo, who protects the arm well.
Lobo gets back to half guard.
Lobo is looking for a sweep. Dmc is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lobo is staying active underneath Dmc, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Dmc is looking for a kimura but Lobo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dmc to get the leverage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lobo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dmc has eaten all the pies!

Dmc is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lobo is just riding it out for now. Dmc eventually gives up the hold.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lobo is in all sorts of trouble here.

Lobo is looking to improve his position but Dmc isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Run Dmc dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dmc has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lobo is proving hard to escape from.
Lobo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dmc escapes and throws Lobo's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dmc tries to stand but Lobo is controlling his head.

Dmc cracks Lobo with a big right hand but Lobo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Lobo looks to move to half guard but instead Dmc has passed into mount! Damn!
Dmc jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lobo manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Lobo tries to improve position but can't.
Lobo is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dmc is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dmc has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lobo's face.

Dmc wants to stand but Lobo is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Dmc swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Run Dmc spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
