Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berik Yawoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Yawoka's choice of entrance music: keep running up that hill. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Douglas Quaid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Berik Yawoka! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yawoka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A hook to the body from Yawoka.
Quaid is trying to pull guard but Yawoka has him pressed against the cage. Yawoka stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Quaid breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yawoka fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Quaid shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yawoka is trying to defend but Quaid finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Yawoka is trying to control but can't.
Yawoka is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Quaid is staying active. Yawoka is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yawoka is doing well to control the position and prevent Quaid from advancing to side control.
Berik Yawoka has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Yawoka has a takedown stuffed. Quaid gets a takedown into half guard. Quaid tries to stand and escape but Yawoka is controlling the position. Yawoka tries to get to full guard but Quaid has control of the leg. Quaid decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yawoka dives in and grabs Quaid's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quaid pushes down on Yawoka's head and hops out. Douglas Quaid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Berik Yawoka. Yawoka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Quaid wants to sweep but no luck. Quaid pulls Yawoka in to control the position. Yawoka controlling from the top position.
Douglas Quaid has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Nice takedown defense from Quaid. No joy for Yawoka on that attempt. Berik Yawoka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quaid leaves Yawoka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yawoka. Quaid will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Quaid gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yawoka to score an easy takedown into full guard. Yawoka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Quaid wants to stand and escape but Yawoka is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yawoka passes Quaid's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Yawoka sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Quaid defending well though. Yawoka controlling the action here. Quaid trying to control from the bottom.
Yawoka missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yawoka wants to pass the guard but Quaid is defending well. Yawoka prevents Quaid from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Berik Yawoka dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Yawoka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quaid's waist but Quaid gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yawoka off to one side. Yawoka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quaid tries to avoid it but Yawoka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quaid to the ground. Quaid escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Quaid throws a right and a left that both miss. Yawoka drives through and clinches with Quaid against the cage.
Yawoka tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Quaid smiles and moves away.
Douglas Quaid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Berik Yawoka. Yawoka moves into range and clinches up with Quaid. Quaid prevents a takedown attempt there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Yawoka holds on and takes a little breather. Yawoka is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Quaid is controlling him. Yawoka looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Quaid trying to control the position from guard on top but Yawoka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Berik Yawoka has got the better of the ground game so far. Quaid preventing the sweep. Yawoka lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Quaid!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yawoka throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Yawoka throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Quaid is wriggling around trying to escape.
Yawoka lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Quaid is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Yawoka tries to control but Quaid wriggling away. Yawoka has hold of Quaid's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Quaid manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quaid regains half guard. Yawoka wants to free his trapped foot but Quaid is holding on for dear life with his legs. Quaid blocking the ground and pound attempt from Yawoka. Yawoka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Quaid tries to kick Yawoka off but Yawoka keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quaid tries to roll over but Yawoka keeps him under control. Yawoka seems to be working for a kimura but Quaid defends the submission attempt. Yawoka thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Berik Yawoka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Yawoka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quaid tries to avoid it but Yawoka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quaid to the ground. Quaid escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Yawoka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Quaid counters with a slapping leg kick. Yawoka tries to clinch but Quaid is having none of it. Yawoka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Quaid sprawls well initially but Yawoka persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Yawoka tries to pass the half guard into mount. Quaid knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Quaid has his hands clasped together around Yawoka's back. He's all about the action. Yawoka thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Yawoka not landing any meaningful shots this time. Yawoka throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Quaid to regain full guard. Quaid is trying to control the position but Yawoka postures up. Quaid working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Yawoka. Quaid wants to sweep here but Yawoka controlling him for the moment. Quaid looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Berik Yawoka was stalling too much, according to the referee. Quaid throws a series of punches but Yawoka avoids them all with ease. Yawoka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Quaid swivels and escapes. Douglas Quaid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Quaid closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Yawoka gets full guard. Yawoka is controlling Quaid's posture. Yawoka trying to keep a closed guard but Quaid is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quaid not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Yawoka wants to sweep but no luck.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Yawoka pushes Quaid up against the cage in a clinch. Yawoka is working for takedown but Quaid is calmly controlling the position for now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Yawoka wants a takedown.
Douglas Quaid has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Quaid drags the fight down to the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yawoka trying to control the position from guard on top but Quaid is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Berik Yawoka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Yawoka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
