The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sholvanski throws a right and a left that Carter avoids nicely.
Sholvanski misses with a two punch combination.
Sholvanski checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Carter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Sholvanski tries to bum rush Carter with a series of wild strikes but Carter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sholvanski clobbers Carter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Carter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sholvanski's hands.

and Carter counters with a stiff right hand.
A combination from Carter does no damage.
Igorl Sholvanski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sholvanski fails to land with a series of punches.
Carter tests Sholvanski's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sholvanski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Carter is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Carter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Carter throws a good cross that connects.
Sholvanski is still on wobbly legs! Can Carter finish him?
Sholvanski looks to score with a jab to the body but Carter is just out of range.
Carter throws a series of punches but Sholvanski avoids them all with ease.

Carter wobbles Sholvanski with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Carter dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Sholvanski to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
