The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Person lands with a cross.
Person throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Klopfenstein 's waist but Klopfenstein gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Person off to one side.
Person fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Person shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Klopfenstein but Klopfenstein pushes him off and we're back to square one.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Person will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Klopfenstein lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Oh Person is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Person can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Klopfenstein controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Klopfenstein stands up over Person, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Klopfenstein controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Person seems to have got his legs back now.
Klopfenstein trying to stand up but can't free himself from Person's guard.
Klopfenstein distracts Person with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

We're going to have a standup here because Very Important Person wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Klopfenstein displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Person throws out the jab.
Person throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Person misses with a body shot.
Person misses the shot to the body.
Person misses with a takedown
and Klopfenstein counters with a huge head kick that drops Person! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
