The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog tries to clinch up.

Alpha Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McHorn keeps control of the position as Dog tries to break free.
McHorn just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Let's hope that McHorn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dog has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McHorn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dog.

Well McHorn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
