Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Rimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by BOOM by P.O.D.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rimes closes the distance and pushes Orton back into the cage.
A short right from Orton.
Orton takes a shot to the head.
Orton has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rimes fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rimes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Orton backwards.
Orton misses with a hook to the ribs.
Still in the clinch, Rimes scores with a nice short uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Orton avoiding damage.
Rimes throws a punch but it's blocked by Orton.

Orton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Orton wants to clinch.
Rimes tests Orton's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rimes slips a jab and a cross from Orton.
Orton throws a hook but Rimes avoids it easily.

Orton looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Randy Orton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rimes lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Orton has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Orton and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Rimes tries to score with a low kick but Orton moves his leg out of the way.

Rimes has Orton up against the cage in a clinch.
Orton tries to break the clinch but Rimes is controlling the position.
Rimes lands a shoulder strike.
Rimes stalling against the cage.
Rimes connects with a knee to the head.
Orton tries to break free but Rimes pushes him back against the cage.

Rimes throws a head punch that misses.
Orton is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Orton doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Orton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Orton misses with a short punch on the inside.

Rimes throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Orton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rimes misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rimes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Rimes doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Orton breaks from the clinch.
A good leg kick by Rimes.
Rimes takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rimes tries to close the distance and clinch but Orton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Orton misses with an uppercut
and Rimes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Orton throws a head kick but Rimes moves out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rimes.
Rimes shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Orton throws a lazy uppercut
and Rimes counters with a nice uppercut.
Rimes lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Orton misses with a body shot.
Orton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Orton takes a swing at Rimes's ribcage but misses.

Rimes drops Orton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Orton looks back up at him and smiles so Rimes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Orton is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good leg kick by Rimes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Orton is still on wobbly legs! Can Rimes finish him?
Orton looks winded!
Orton drops his hands momentarily and Rimes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Orton on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rimes. Rimes obviously looking to wear him down.
Rimes tries to clinch but Orton moves out of range.
Rimes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Orton seems to have recovered his senses.
Rimes jabs Orton to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Orton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rimes can pounce on him.
Nice shot lands for Rimes.
Orton glances at the clock... BAM! Rimes nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Orton crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Orton is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
