Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Vogelpohl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cooper comes to the cage accompanied by s.mouse - slap my elbow. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chuck Vogelpohl! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper darts in trying to clinch and Vogelpohl counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Vogelpohl stands up over Cooper, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cooper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vogelpohl on the ground. Vogelpohl postures up in Cooper's guard and throws a big left but Cooper blocks it. Vogelpohl stands up over Cooper, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Vogelpohl has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Vogelpohl slips nicely into half guard. Vogelpohl seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cooper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Vogelpohl controlling the pace. The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Chuck Vogelpohl wasn't active enough on the ground. Cooper closes the distance but Vogelpohl moves to the side and Vogelpohl counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cooper! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vogelpohl working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vogelpohl wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cooper keeps working. Vogelpohl postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cooper tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vogelpohl wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Cooper throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Vogelpohl lands with a nice body punch. Cooper takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Cooper tries to clinch so Vogelpohl counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Vogelpohl wants to pass the guard but Cooper is keeping the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vogelpohl wants to control from the top but Cooper keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vogelpohl lands a couple of elbows. Cooper keeping moving, preventing Vogelpohl from controlling successfully. Vogelpohl is looking to advance position but Cooper has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Vogelpohl is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cooper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Vogelpohl is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cooper prevents Vogelpohl from improving position. Cooper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cooper tries to get out of the position. Cooper is trying to get back to his feet. Vogelpohl tries to advance to mount but can't. Vogelpohl tries for a kimura but Cooper is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper regains half guard, as Vogelpohl was trying to land strikes. Cooper is trying to stand back up but Vogelpohl is controlling him
Vogelpohl is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Vogelpohl throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Vogelpohl works his way into full mount! Vogelpohl is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cooper has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cooper!

Cooper throws a wild body kick that Vogelpohl sees coming a mile off. Cooper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cooper wants it to stay on the feet. Cooper tries to clinch up but Vogelpohl circles away and keeps his distance. Cooper tries to clinch and Vogelpohl counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vogelpohl accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cooper is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cooper takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vogelpohl keeps the fight on the outside. Cooper gets a clinch. Vogelpohl jumps guard but Cooper turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Vogelpohl avoids the elbow strike from Cooper, against the cage.
Cooper pushes off an throws an elbow but Vogelpohl leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Cooper landing knees to the head.
Vogelpohl blocks an elbow strike. Vogelpohl is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Charles Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Vogelpohl. Vogelpohl swings wildly with an uppercut but Cooper uses good head movement to avoid it. Cooper lands a knee to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vogelpohl changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cooper fights it off and pushes away nicely.

He's got his arms around Cooper's waist but Cooper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vogelpohl off to one side. Cooper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Vogelpohl keeps the fight on the outside. Cooper moves to clinch but Vogelpohl breaks away and Vogelpohl counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vogelpohl wants to control from the top but Cooper keeps moving. Vogelpohl is standing up over Cooper. Cooper looks to escape but Vogelpohl dives into side control.
Vogelpohl tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vogelpohl has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Charles Cooper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The strikes coming from Vogelpohl are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Vogelpohl comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Vogelpohl winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
