The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hood there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hood ducks right into an uppercut from Lahm.
Hood moves forwards but Lahm connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lahm ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hood moves away.
Lahm scores with a jab to the body.
Lahm digs a good body shot into Hood's ribs.
Lahm connects with a looping right hand.
Lahm uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lahm just misses with a punch to the body.

Hood is rocked!
Hood doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lahm counters with a right hand to the body.
Hood is still on wobbly legs! Can Lahm finish him?
Hood tries for a takedown but Lahm circles away easily
and Lahm counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hood seems to have recovered his senses.

and Lahm counters with a right hand to the body.
Julian Lahm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Hood.

Lahm is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hood fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lahm lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hood ducks right into an uppercut from Lahm.
Lahm connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lahm lands the left hand.
Lahm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lahm changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lahm cracks Hood with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hood falls to his knees and Lahm doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Julian Lahm!
