The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DaGiantKiller lands a big head kick that sends Cox tumbling to the mat! DaGiantKiller takes a step backwards and waves Cox back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Homer Cox has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cox wants to clinch.

DaGiantKiller darts in and clinches Cox up against the cage.
Cox fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

DaGiantKiller manages to break the clinch.
Cox fails with a takedown attempt.

DaGiantKiller clinches up against the cage.
DaGiantKiller lands a right hand.
Cox is trying to break the clinch but DaGiantKiller is controlling him.
Cox wants to take the fight to the mat but DaGiantKiller manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from DaGiantKiller.

DaGiantKiller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DaGiantKiller feints and then cracks Cox's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cox down.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cox.
Giuseppe DaGiantKiller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Homer Cox.
Cox throws a sloppy body shot
and Cox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cox looks to land a combination but DaGiantKiller avoids it well.
Cox looks winded!
DaGiantKiller connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

DaGiantKiller clinches with his opponent.

DaGiantKiller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cox has eaten all the pies!
Cox gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! DaGiantKiller points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Cox wakes up just in time to hear DaGiantKiller thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Giuseppe DaGiantKiller!
