Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Kingsbury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kingsbury kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AC/DC - Back in Black. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddell! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Liddell closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kingsbury quickly recovers to half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Liddell prevents Kingsbury from improving his position. Liddell is looking to take a break and control but Kingsbury is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kingsbury is pressing down on Liddell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kingsbury pulls Liddell in close to his closed guard and prevents Liddell from doing any damage or advancing position. Kingsbury is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Liddell defends well. Liddell preventing the sweep. Kingsbury is pulling down on Liddell's head. It's preventing any offense from Liddell, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingsbury wriggles free and stands up. Kingsbury gets the takedown into side control. Sloppy strikes there by Kingsbury. Liddell holding on. Kingsbury postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Liddell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Liddell is adopting a defensive guard. Kingsbury slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
