Fizzlebeef's entrance music is Eminem & Royce Da 5'9 - Above the Law a. A fine choice. Piper has chosen Real Men Wear Skirts as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper is looking to slow Fizzlebeef down with leg kicks.
Piper lands a nice looking body shot.
Fizzlebeef looks to land a combination but Piper avoids it well.
Fizzlebeef shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Piper counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fizzlebeef's knee momentarily.

Fizzlebeef closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fizzlebeef has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Piper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fizzlebeef keeps working.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Piper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Piper wants it to stay on the feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Piper.

and Piper finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Piper thows a body kick. Fizzlebeef tries to catch it but that hurt him.

and Piper holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Piper creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Piper misses with a short punch on the inside.
Piper lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Fizzlebeef blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Piper lands a nice shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
