Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edmund Dantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neeyo Collin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Collin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bagsakan - Collaboration kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Edmund Dantes has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edmund Dantes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Neeyo Collin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dantes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Collin momentarily.
Dantes scores with a jab to the head.
A lazy left from Dantes finds it's target.
Collin slips under a jab from Dantes.
Dantes cracks Collin with an open hand slap.
Good work by Collin as he checks the leg kick.
The fighters circling - Dantes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dantes fails with the takedown.
Collin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Collin shoots in for a takedown but Dantes shows good takedown defense.
Dantes connects with a body shot that sends Collin's belly button to the back.

Collin throws out a loose jab but Dantes uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dantes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Dantes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Good leg kick by Collin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Dantes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Collin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Collin shrugs it off.

Dantes is trying to control the action in half guard but Collin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dantes takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Collin misses the jab.

Collin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dantes moves into full guard.
Dantes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Dantes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Dantes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dantes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Collin is controlling an arm, preventing Dantes from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Collin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dantes.

Collin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dantes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dantes stuffs the takedown attempt from Collin. Collin gets slowly back to his feet.
Collin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
