The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aalto closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Aalto lands in his opponent's guard.
Raivorinta looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Aalto puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Aalto is keen to just control but Raivorinta is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Raivorinta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Aalto sprawls well initially but Raivorinta persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
