Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Theo Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pretzel Vendor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paris comes to the cage accompanied by Delta Heavy - Must Be The Feeling. Pretzel Vendor has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Theo Paris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pretzel Vendor!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vendor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Paris.
Paris shoots in but no luck this time.
Paris showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Vendor.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Theo Paris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Paris shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Paris was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Paris throws a strike aimed at the side of Vendor's head but Vendor avoids it well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vendor wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

and Vendor counters with a nice double leg into side control. Paris won't be happy with that.

Paris keeping moving, preventing Vendor from controlling successfully.

Vendor is looking to advance position but Paris has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Paris swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Vendor is now in Paris's guard. A big mistake from Paris there, giving up the dominant position!

Paris is trying to control the position but Vendor postures up.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paris is looking for a sweep. Vendor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Vendor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Paris is just riding it out for now. Vendor eventually gives up the hold.
Vendor thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Paris's head.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Pretzel Vendor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Paris is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vendor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vendor shoots in for a double leg but Paris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Paris has clasped his hands together around Vendor's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Paris looks up at the clock and then as Vendor takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Paris smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Vendor is not content to let Paris control the position.
Paris with the ground and pound but Vendor regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Paris works his way into side control.
Vendor tries to improve position but can't.
Paris scores with a couple of short elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Paris lands some shots froms side control.
Paris is looking to take a break and control but Vendor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Paris working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Paris remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Vendor is not content to let Paris control the position.

Paris is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vendor knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paris seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Paris is pressing down on Vendor's thigh, looking to free his foot. Vendor is holding on for now.
Vendor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Theo Paris showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Paris has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
