Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dileno Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carneiro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kozlov but Kozlov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kozlov's corner calls for a 1-2. Kozlov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Oh Carneiro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ivan Kozlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Carneiro seems to have got his legs back now.
Still in the clinch, Kozlov scores with a nice short uppercut.
Carneiro changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kozlov fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kozlov lands a nice hook to Carneiro's body. Carneiro takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kozlov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Carneiro had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Kozlov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Kozlov manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carneiro goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kozlov prevents it.

Kozlov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kozlov looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Carneiro has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kozlov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Carneiro has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kozlov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Kozlov closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Carneiro! Kozlov dives in looking to finish! Carneiro is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
