Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes into the arena with Oh No-Snoop Dogg & 50 Cent blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlos Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg Chang! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams moves out of range of the body kick. Chang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williams sees it coming and avoids it easily. A combination from Chang does no damage. Chang throws the kick towards the body but Williams avoids it. Williams closes the distance and clinches. Williams throws an elbow but it misses.
Williams taking a breather. Chang wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Chang digs a good body shot into Williams's ribs. Chang keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Greg Chang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A bone on bone clash there as Williams blocks the leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Chang. Williams is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chang misses with an uppercut. Chang tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Chang misses with a double jab.

Williams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Williams throws a right and a left that Chang avoids nicely. Williams has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Chang. Chang throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Williams counters with a big head kick but Chang shrugs it off. Greg Chang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Chang throws a lazy uppercut
and Williams holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Chang wants to break free but Williams has control.
Williams throws an elbow but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Williams looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Chang passes into half guard.
Chang is keen to just control but Williams is a slippery customer. Williams tries to roll over but Chang keeps him under control. Chang is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chang is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chang is looking for a kimura but Williams is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chang to get the leverage. Williams wants to get back to full guard. Chang is working for a kimura but Williams is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Chang is pressing down on Williams's thigh, looking to free his foot. Williams is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Chang pulls his head out easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Chang misses with a right hand and Williams counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Chang throws a series of punches but Williams moves out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Williams moves away from the strike by Chang. Chang avoids the head kick by Williams.
Chang throws a big shot that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carlos Williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick misses from Williams. Chang throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Chang looks to land a combination. Williams sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Carlos Williams has been cut. Good exchange - Chang coming out on top. Chang pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Williams blocks the body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chang tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Chang scores with a hook. Chang swings for the body but Williams moves out of range.
Williams lands with a slapping head kick. Williams keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Williams takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Chang misses with a hook. Williams throws a one two combo.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chang throws a push kick but Williams slaps the foot to one side. Williams takes one to the chin there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chang throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Williams counters with a head kick that drops Chang - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
Chang is rocked! Williams wants to stand up but Chang has a hold of him and won't allow it. Chang is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him? Williams is working for a submission of some sort.
Chang seems to have recovered his senses. Greg Chang seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Williams is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Chang reverses the position - he's now on top in Williams's guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Chang wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Chang advances to half guard. Chang prevents Williams from improving his position. Williams manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Chang seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Williams does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Chang is working for a kimura but Williams is defending it quite comfortably.

Greg Chang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Carlos Williams's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Williams shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Chang missing with a left hand there. Williams was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Chang digs a good body shot into Williams's ribs. Williams blocks the body kick.
Williams gets a takedown into half guard. Chang is pressing down on Williams's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Williams drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chang manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Williams has Chang in his guard. Chang stands and throws Williams's legs to the side, diving into side control. Williams manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Chang wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Chang is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Williams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chang.
