Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Albert Fish! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sub Zero! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish digs a good body shot into Zero's ribs. Zero uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fish. Zero will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fish moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Fish loads up on a big right hand but Zero slips the punch. Fish throws out a powerful jab. Nice defenses there by Zero. Zero avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Zero avoids the body shot from Fish.
Zero walks into a stiff left hand from Fish. Zero fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fish is out of range. Fish darts in and clinches Zero up against the cage. Fish lands with a short shot to the head. Zero drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fish scores with a nice hook to the head. Fish lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A nice left hand lands by Fish.
Zero is rocked! A body shot lands from Fish.
A short right from Fish on the inside. Fish lands a body punch in the clinch. Fish scores with a knee to the head.
Zero is still on wobbly legs! Can Fish finish him? Fish scores with a shot to the side of Zero's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fish throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Zeros head. Fish lands an elbow just above Zero 's eye. Zero takes an elbow to the forehead. Fish lands with a left to the head. Fish lands a right hand that snaps the head of Zero backwards. Zero's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Fish lands a hook that snaps the head of Zero backwards. Fish lands with a left to the head. Fish lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Zero to his knees! Fish keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Albert Fish! Albert Fish retains his middleweight title!
