Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mountain Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko has chosen Казаки - Ой Да as his entrance music. Emelianenko has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fedor Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Emelianenko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Emelianenko looks winded! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Rivera throws a big right hand that misses. Rivera is looking to work some ground and pound but Emelianenko has wrist control. Emelianenko keeping moving, preventing Rivera from controlling successfully. Rivera is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Emelianenko is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Rivera loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rivera will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivera throwing strikes but missing. Rivera is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mountain Rivera wasn't doing enough on the ground. Rivera shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rivera was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Emelianenko parries the strikes from Rivera easily there. Rivera is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Emelianenko to escape.
Rivera connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Emelianenko some visible discomfort.
Rivera landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Rivera trying to control the action but Emelianenko is working from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivera tries for a kimura but Emelianenko is defending well. Rivera landing strikes.
Emelianenko is rocked! Emelianenko takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Emelianenko is still in real trouble! Can Rivera finish him? Rivera lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Emelianenko down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivera wants to lay and pray for a moment but Emelianenko keeps working. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Rivera is looking to take a break and control but Emelianenko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rivera throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Rivera crunches a massive hammerfist down on Emelianenko - he's out! Rivera Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
