Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Sampaio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Debtman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Debtman on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Debtman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Debtman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sampaio sprawls well. Sampaio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Debtman gets slowly back to his feet.

Sampaio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Debtman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sampaio defends it easily.
Sampaio passes into half guard.

Sampaio wants to work for an arm triangle but Debtman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Debtman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sampaio has picked Debtman up and slammed him! Debtman can't keep hold of the triangle and Sampaio manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sampaio is looking to take a break and control but Debtman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A lull in the action here as Sampaio stalls from top position.
Sampaio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Debtman keeps working.

Sampaio is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Debtman has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sampaio goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Debtman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sampaio's guard! Nice work there by Debtman!
Sampaio bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Debtman's guard.

Debtman throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sampaio escapes and throws Debtman's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sampaio looking to control but instead Debtman has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Debtman throws a shot from downtown. Sampaio moves away and avoids it.
Sampaio bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sampaio scores with a jab to the head.
Sampaio lands with a thumping leg kick.

Sampaio throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Debtman is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sampaio.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Debtman throws a leg kick but Sampaio sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Debtman tests Sampaio's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cesar Sampaio is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Debtman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sampaio but Sampaio pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Cesar Sampaio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Debtman.
Sampaio throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

and Sampaio makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Debtman really felt that one!
Jake Debtman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Debtman is breathing heavily.
Debtman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Debtman takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Sampaio lands with a nice combination. Debtman backs away looking to recover.
Debtman is still on wobbly legs! Can Sampaio finish him?
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sampaio! Debtman is out on his feet! Sampaio rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Debtman is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Debtman is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
