Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cacareco Chuteboxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuteboxe circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chuteboxe misses with a takedown
and Buckner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chuteboxe with a lazy takedown attempt
and Buckner counters with a nice leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Chuteboxe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Buckner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Buckner closes the distance and clinches.
Buckner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Chuteboxe takes one to the side of the head.
Buckner missing with a left hand there. Chuteboxe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Buckner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chuteboxe circles away quickly and effectively.

and Buckner moves into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cacareco Chuteboxe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chuteboxe changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Buckner fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Buckner counters with a stiff right hand.

Buckner clinches up against the cage.
Chuteboxe is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Buckner can't fight it off and eventually Chuteboxe manages to take the fight to the floor. Buckner looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chuteboxe prevents Buckner from getting back to his feet.
Buckner wriggles free and stands up.
Chuteboxe fails with a takedown attempt.
Buckner lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Chuteboxe staying out of range there.
Chuteboxe shoots in looking for a takedown but Buckner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chuteboxe's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Buckner.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Buckner works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Chuteboxe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chuteboxe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Buckner throws out the jab.
Buckner scores with a punch to the head.
Buckner leaves Chuteboxe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chuteboxe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Buckner pushes Chuteboxe up against the cage in a clinch.
Buckner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck for Chuteboxe with that takedown attempt.
Matt Buckner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Buckner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Buckner wants it to stay on the feet.
Chuteboxe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Buckner.

Buckner tries to bum rush Chuteboxe with a series of wild strikes but Chuteboxe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chuteboxe tries a head kick but it misses.
Buckner misses with a hook. Chuteboxe ducked under it nicely.
Chuteboxe gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Cacareco Chuteboxe has been cut.
Chuteboxe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buckner sprawls well. Buckner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chuteboxe gets slowly back to his feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Buckner misses the target.

Buckner is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Chuteboxe had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buckner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chuteboxe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Chuteboxe is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Buckner moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Buckner!
Matt Buckner gave a mention to Sparta Fightware in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
