Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lewis Uchida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uchida shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Uchida shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Uchida is looking to clinch.
Uchida circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva lands with a kick to the temple. Uchida shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Silva drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Uchida tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Uchida manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Silva counters with a thumping low kick.

A left lands for Silva.
Uchida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Uchida saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Uchida looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Uchida goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
