Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pukki uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pukki fails with an attempt to clinch.
William thows a body shot but no joy.
William cracks Pukki with a good jab.
Pukki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
William blocks a head kick by Pukki.
Pukki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

William walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pukki checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
William keeps the fight on the outside.
Pukki moves into range and clinches up with William.
William misses with the head strike.
Pukki prevents a body shot from William.
Pukki has had enough of the clinch but William keeps him there for the moment.
William goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
William lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pukki or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

William has clasped his hands together around Pukki's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pukki tries to improve position but can't.
Pukki is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but William has just dragged him back down to the mat.
William is chipping away with strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pukki is looking for a sweep.

William throws a strike aimed at the side of Pukki's head but Pukki avoids it well.
William scores with a couple of short elbows.
William has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
William has an Americana. Pukki didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! William is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if William hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
