Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dusan Kikovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Adam Hopkins was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dusan Kikovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Hopkins!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kikovic. Hopkins does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kikovic scores with a kick to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kikovic.
Hopkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Kikovic swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kikovic lands a leg kick that knocks Hopkins off balance momentarily.
Kikovic lands a high kick!
It looks like Adam Hopkins has been cut.
Kikovic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hopkins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hopkins has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kikovic.
Kikovic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hopkins doesn't seem bothered though.

Hopkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kikovic swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hopkins moves in looking to clinch but Kikovic pushes him off.

Kikovic throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hopkins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hopkins tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kikovic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kikovic.
Hopkins wants to clinch but Kikovic slips to the side
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

and Kikovic counters with a nice uppercut.
Kikovic moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kikovic throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hopkins is looking to clinch.
Hopkins closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hopkins misses with the head strike.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Kikovic lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hopkins backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kikovic creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Hopkins wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Kikovic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kikovic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hopkins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kikovic as he jumps to the side.
Hopkins takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hopkins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kikovic is looking to wear down Hopkins with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Nice body kick there by Kikovic.

Kikovic keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hopkins doesn't manage to clinch there - Kikovic circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kikovic throws a series of punches but Hopkins avoids them all with ease.

and Kikovic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kikovic scores with a leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Hopkins 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kikovic connects with a looping right hand.
Kikovic fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hopkins has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hopkins closes the distance but Kikovic moves to the side
and Kikovic counters with a head kick that drops Hopkins to the mat! Hopkins scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
That has opened up Adam Hopkins's cut even more.
Kikovic lands a jab to the nose.
Kikovic jabs Hopkins right on the nose. Hopkins blinks but takes it well.
Kikovic closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Hopkins! Kikovic dives in looking to finish! Hopkins is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dusan Kikovic!
Dusan Kikovic took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'i will kill you zyd'.
