Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lee Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simon Fry will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Wang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Fry! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fry throws a push kick but Wang slaps the foot to one side. Fry tries to clinch but Wang moves away and Wang counters with a nice uppercut. Fry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wang lands with a hook. Fry tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Wang shoots in but no luck this time. Fry throws a sloppy head kick and Wang moves out of range easily. Simon Fry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wang throws out a leg kick but Fry moves out of range and Wang only half commits. Fry doesn't manage to clinch there - Wang circles away.
Fry tries to clinch but Wang is having none of it. Fry checks a leg kick. Fry closes the distance looking to clinch and Wang counters with an outside leg kick.
Fry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wang swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wang tries for a takedown but Fry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Wang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fry's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Wang controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Lee Wang wasn't doing enough on the ground. Fry tries to clinch but Wang moves away so Wang counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fry wants to stand and escape but Wang is having none of it. Wang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wang seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fry for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lee Wang. Wang avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fry wants it to stay on the feet. Fry throws a lazy head kick and Wang counters with a thumping low kick. Fry wants to clinch up but Wang keeps it at a distance. Fry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wang swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fry but Fry pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wang to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Wang prevents Fry from getting back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lee Wang. Wang shoots in for a double leg but Fry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fry throws a sloppy head kick and Wang moves out of range easily. Fry tries to clinch but Wang moves away and Wang counters with a three punch combo that has Fry backing up. Fry nods at Wang to acknowledge the strikes. Fry tries to clinch up. Horrible takedown by Wang or perhaps it was just good defense by Fry which made him look bad. Simon Fry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wang blocks a head kick by Fry.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fry looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wang wants to slow Fry down by chopping away at his legs. Wang throws a leg kick but Fry sees it coming and checks it nicely. Wang shoots in for a takedown but Fry shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wang takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Wang circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wang takes a kick to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice sprawl there from Fry as Wang shoots in. Wang is breathing heavily. Wang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fry sprawls well. Fry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wang gets slowly back to his feet. Fry stuns Wang with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Wang dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fry wants to clinch but Wang slips to the side and Wang counters with a left and a right that stings Fry. Wang misses with a takedown attempt - Fry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wang looks for a takedown but Fry sprawls well. Fry tries to clinch and Wang counters with an inside leg kick. Fry throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fry thuds a left hand into Wang's body. Fry tries to close the distance and clinch but Wang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wang throws a low kick but it's checked well by Fry. Fry leaves Wang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Wang. That's going to take a lot out of him. A slow jab from Fry misses its intended target. The fight stays on the outside here - Fry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fry stuffs the takedown attempt from Wang. Wang gets slowly back to his feet. Wang shoots in for a double leg but Fry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice body kick from Fry. Lee Wang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fry scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fry moves in looking to clinch but Wang pushes him off. Wang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wang shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fry is looking to clinch but Wang is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wang shoots for a double leg takedown but Fry sprawls well. He's pushed Wang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fry just misses with a punch to the body.
Fry wants to clinch up but Wang keeps it at a distance. Wang has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fry lands with a right that hurts Wang. Wang looks to clinch but Fry throws a short knee that drops Wang. This one is all over!
