Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Bansa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bansa lands a leg kick that knocks Smash off balance momentarily.
Smash throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bansa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Smash is in Bansa's guard.
Smash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bansa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smash postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bansa wants to stand but Smash is controlling the position.
Bansa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Smash passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Smash throws an elbow but Bansa slips to the side and avoids it well.
Smash sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bansa is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smash misses with the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bansa taking punishment in the form of punches.
Smash throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Smash working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Smash works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Smash throws an elbow but Bansa slips to the side and avoids it well.
Smash landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smash scoring with punches and elbows.
Smash creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bansa sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Smash is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bansa is trying to escape and Smash transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bansa is forced to tap! Nice work there by Smash! Very nice indeed!
