Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kofi Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Slammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tommy Slammer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kofi Kingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Slammer! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingston throws a head kick that misses. Slammer takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Slammer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kingston doesn't seem bothered though. A swing and a miss from Slammer. Slammer clinches up with Kingston and pushes him back against the cage. Slammer keeps control of Kingston as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Slammer creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kingston's defenses. Slammer stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Slammer is trying to break free. Slammer breaks the clinch.
Slammer has closed the distance and engaged Kingston in a clinch.
Slammer throws an elbow that misses.
Kingston fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingston wants to break the clinch but can't.
Slammer manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Slammer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Slammer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kingston wants it to stay on the feet. Kingston throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slammer's waist but Slammer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kingston off to one side. Kingston fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kofi Kingston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slammer lands a brutal head kick. Kingston looks out on his feet and Slammer throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Tommy Slammer! Tommy Slammer took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
