The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Chase lands an elbow inside that Kahn shrugs off.

It looks like Christian Kahn has been cut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chase takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Chase's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Kahn throws a strike there. Chase manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Kahn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chase with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kahn wants to control but Chase is keeping him busy.
