Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Burgundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ron Burgundy looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron Burgundy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wayne Kerr! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr checks the leg kick. Burgundy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! A head kick misses from Kerr. Kerr fails with a takedown attempt. Burgundy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kerr.
Kerr looks to land a combination. Burgundy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kerr plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The fight stays on the outside here - Burgundy looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kerr drives through and clinches with Burgundy against the cage.
Kerr is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kerr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kerr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burgundy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kerr tries to clinch up but Burgundy circles away and keeps his distance. Kerr pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr moves out of range of the leg kick from Burgundy. Kerr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burgundy. Kerr tries to clinch but Burgundy moves out of range. Burgundy avoids the body shot from Kerr.
Kerr throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Burgundy. Ron Burgundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burgundy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Burgundy tries to sprawl out of it but Kerr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burgundy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Burgundy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kerr circles away. Burgundy throws a looping overhand right but Kerr ducks down to avoid it. Burgundy lands a nice shot that snaps Kerr's head back.

This has been an exciting period of action! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Burgundy keeping moving, preventing Kerr from controlling successfully. Kerr preventing the sweep. Burgundy tries to avoid it but Kerr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burgundy to the ground. Burgundy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ron Burgundy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayne Kerr.

Kerr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burgundy avoids it really well and circles away. Burgundy throws the left hand but Kerr avoids the punch easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Burgundy throws a right and a left that both miss. Kerr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burgundy swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wayne Kerr dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kerr stands up and beckons Burgundy to join him on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr thuds his shin into the meat of Burgundy's side. Wayne Kerr seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kerr shoots in for a double leg but Burgundy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A head kick misses from Kerr. Kerr is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Burgundy, right into the meat.

Kerr is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Burgundy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Burgundy stopping the sweep attempt from Kerr. Burgundy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Burgundy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kerr works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ron Burgundy. Kerr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burgundy avoids it really well and circles away. Kerr checks the leg kick nicely there.

It looks like he's going for a triangle but Burgundy is defending well. Kerr quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Burgundy has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kerr celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
