Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malvin Maldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maldi comes to the cage accompanied by Loituma TECHNO!. Bull has chosen Black Label Society - Fire It Up as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
39 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Malvin Maldi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
36 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Bull! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bull throws a hook but Maldi blocks it. Bull tries to score with a low kick but Maldi moves his leg out of the way. Maldi lands a nice shot to the body.
Maldi avoids the body shot from Bull.
Maldi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Maldi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bull throws out a loose jab but Maldi uses good head movement to avoid it. Bull lunges at Maldi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Maldi's hand. Maldi shoots in looking for a takedown but Bull manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maldi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A slow jab from Maldi misses its intended target. Maldi tests Bull's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bull steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maldi. Bull shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Maldi sprawls well. Maldi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bull gets slowly back to his feet. Maldi blocks the body kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bull. Maldi does a little dance to reset his feet. Bull moves away from the strike by Maldi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bull throws a leg kick which misses Maldi's front leg but catches the back leg as Maldi tries to avoid it. Good standup being displayed there by Bull as he connects with a hook. A telegraphed right hand from Maldi misses the target. Maldi throws a leg kick but Bull moved away. Maldi misses with a straight left. A big right from Maldi misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maldi. Maldi fails in his attempt to clinch. Maldi misses with an uppercut. Bull saw that one coming. Maldi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bull checks the leg kick nicely there.
Bull throws a hook to the side of Maldi's head but Maldi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Maldi throws the left hand but Bull avoids the punch easily. Maldi cracks a nice hook into Bull's ribs. Bull takes one to the chin there. Maldi throws a hook to the side of Bull's head but Bull sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maldi throws the left hand but Bull avoids the punch easily. Maldi leaves Bull with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A telegraphed right hand from Maldi misses the target. Bull throws a series of punches but Maldi avoids them all with ease. Bull throws a leg kick that is checked and Maldi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Maldi. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maldi cracks Bull with a solid left hand. Maldi preventing the sweep. Maldi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Maldi tries to free his leg and advance position but Bull is retaining full guard. Bull is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bull keeping full guard, as Maldi tries to pass. Maldi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bull's guard. Maldi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bull with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maldi is looking to take a break and control but Bull is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Maldi is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bull slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bull tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bull is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bull lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Maldi! Maldi working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bull throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maldi is bucking up trying to escape but Bull cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Bull sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Maldi tries to lock up and control but Bull gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Maldi tries to reverse the position but Bull maintains control. Bull is in the full mount, landing strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maldi can't escape the position.
Bull throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Bull lands a big shot there that rocks Maldi but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Bull avoids the attempt from Maldi to control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bull punishing his opponent with strikes. Bull lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Maldi wants to hold on but Bull pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Roy Bull will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bull ducks right into an uppercut from Maldi. Bull throws a solid leg kick but Maldi takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bull. Good leg kick by Bull there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bull takes a swing at Maldi's ribcage but misses. Bull misses with a leg kick and Maldi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bull throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Maldi counters with a stiff right hand. Maldi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bull was well out of range. Poor timing from Maldi. Bull misses the shot to the body. Maldi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bull tries to clinch there but Maldi circles away.
Maldi loads up on a big right hand but Bull slips the punch. Maldi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fighters circling - Maldi throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bull uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Maldi. Maldi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bull blocks a head kick by Maldi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bull throws a lazy right hand but Maldi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A big right from Maldi misses. Maldi fails to land with a series of punches.
Bull takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Bull throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Maldi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bull is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bull takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bull moves in looking to clinch but Maldi pushes him off. Bull attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Maldi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Malvin Maldi is winning the standup battle so far. Bull throws a front kick aimed at Maldi's knee but Maldi avoids it well. A head kick misses from Maldi. Bull lands an overhand right. Maldi throws a hook but Bull blocks it. Malvin Maldi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Bull misses its intended target. Maldi scores with a nice strike. Bull misses with a two punch combination.
Maldi missing with a left hand there. Bull was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Roy Bull seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bull shoots in and drives through. Maldi sprawls well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bull rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Maldi counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bull steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maldi. Maldi scores with a sloppy right hand. Bull should have avoided that one. Maldi throws a jab when Bull was well out of range. Maldi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bull moves away. A slow jab from Bull misses its intended target. Bull throws a leg kick but Maldi sees it coming and checks it nicely. Maldi misses with a two punch combination.

and Bull counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Good shot there by Bull.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A combination from Bull does no damage. A momentary lapse in concentration from Bull enables Maldi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bull manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Maldi lands a couple of elbows. Bull had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Maldi defends it easily. Maldi controlling from the top position. Bull is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maldi defends well. Bull looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Maldi has picked Bull up and slammed him! Bull can't keep hold of the triangle and Maldi manages to pass to side control! Bull is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Bull is looking to regain half guard here but Maldi keeps moving and retains side control. Roy Bull is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maldi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bull is positioning himself to get back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Maldi is working Bull over with some ground and pound from side control. Maldi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bull, who protects the arm well. Bull is looking for a sweep.
And that's the end of the fight! Malvin Maldi showed his dominance in that final round. I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
