Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Penn dives in and grabs Tjaber's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tjaber pushes down on Penn's head and hops out.
Penn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tjaber to the mat! Tjaber manages to get full guard.
Penn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Penn slips nicely into half guard.
Tjaber tries to get to full guard but Penn has control of the leg.
Penn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Penn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tjaber is just riding it out for now. Penn eventually gives up the hold.
Penn is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tjaber is staying active underneath Penn, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Tjaber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground.
Penn prevents Tjaber from improving his position.
Penn seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tjaber is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
