Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huges shoots in but De La Cruz avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Huges shoots in for a takedown but De La Cruz shows good takedown defense.
Huges decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Huges wants to stand but De La Cruz has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
De La Cruz tries to kick Huges off but Huges keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Huges tries to pass to full mount but De La Cruz defends it.
De La Cruz is trying to stand back up but Huges is controlling him
De La Cruz is breathing heavily.
Huges trying to control from half guard but De La Cruz is working away.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

De La Cruz has one foot on Huges's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Huges throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Huges tries to clinch there but De La Cruz circles away.
Huges changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. De La Cruz tries to avoid it but Huges manages to keep hold of a leg and drag De La Cruz to the ground. De La Cruz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Damian De La Cruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Huges.
De La Cruz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Huges tries to clinch up but De La Cruz circles away and keeps his distance.
Huges lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Huges throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De La Cruz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Huges tries to clinch but De La Cruz is having none of it.
Huges doesn't manage to clinch there - De La Cruz circles away.
De La Cruz swats away the attempt to clinch by Huges.
Huges wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
De La Cruz gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Huges gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
