Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guigui Borgne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faria comes to the cage accompanied by Stevie B - Spring Love. Lucas Faria has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 33 - 1, fighting out of New York, Guigui Borgne!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faria throws a right and a left that both miss.
Faria misses with the combination.
Borgne shoots in and drives through. Faria sprawls well.
Faria tries to bum rush Borgne with a series of wild strikes but Borgne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Faria stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Faria wants it to stay on the feet.
Borgne shoots for a double leg takedown but Faria sprawls well. He's pushed Borgne's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lucas Faria has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guigui Borgne.

Borgne feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Faria is looking to stand up but Borgne isn't so interested in that idea.
Borgne is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Borgne has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well, if Borgne is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
It looks like Borgne might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Faria throws a right hand that Borgne ducks under and follows up with a left that Borgne also avoids with ease.
