Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Jamse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Rolling Stones: Gimme Shelter. Jamse has chosen Ya Boy- We Ready as his entrance music. Sid Jamse has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiger Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sid Jamse!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jamse scores a takedown into full mount!
Jamse punching from mount but Jones doing a good job of avoiding damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jamse trying to control but Jones is having none of it.

Jamse is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jones can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Jamse unloads with some shots from mount but Jones bucks and avoids them well.

Jones slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Jamse wants to pass to mount but Jones is defending the position.
Jamse is tying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jamse passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jones!
Jamse avoids the attempt from Jones to control.
Jones is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jones is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jamse is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Jamse moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jones has worked his arm free - good work by Jones!

Jamse thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Jones is staying active underneath Jamse, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Jamse is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones throws a one two combo.

Jones lands a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sid Jamse dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Jamse takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Jones thuds his right hand into Jamse's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jamse shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jones stalks Jamse and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jamse's face. Jamse staggers backwards, shaken.

Jones throws a series of strikes that have Jamse backpedaling.

Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Tiger Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones stalks Jamse and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jamse's face. Jamse staggers backwards, shaken.
Jamse drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Jones catches Jamse with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jones!
Tiger Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jamse takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jamse changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Jamse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tiger Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sid Jamse.

Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jones scores with a three punch combo!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jamse to the canvas! Jamse doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Jones keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tiger Jones!
