Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Prithu Regmi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cameron Powers is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Prithu Regmi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Cameron Powers! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers throws a left and a right that both miss
and Regmi makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Powers really felt that one! Regmi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Regmi decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Powers misses with a few strikes there.
Regmi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Powers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Regmi tries to clinch there but Powers circles away.
Powers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Powers tries to keep at a distance but Regmi has taken the fight into the clinch. Powers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sloppy strikes from Powers. Those never looked like landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Regmi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cameron Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Powers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Regmi shoots in but Powers avoids the takedown attempt easily. Regmi fails with the takedown. Regmi takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Powers slaps away a takedown attempt from Regmi, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Prithu Regmi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Powers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Regmi, pushing him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Powers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Regmi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Regmi moves in looking to clinch but Powers pushes him off. Powers drops Regmi with a big left hand! Regmi is injured, injured bad! Powers jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cameron Powers! Cameron Powers decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
