Michaels misses with an uppercut.
Maynard avoids a punch combination nicely.
A slow jab from Michaels misses its intended target.
Sloppy strikes from Michaels. Those never looked like landing.
No joy there for Maynard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Maynard does no damage.
Michaels throws a combination that misses
and Maynard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Michaels blocks a head kick by Maynard.
Michaels on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Maynard drops Michaels with a beautiful combination! Michaels stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maynard is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maynard lands a hook that stumbles Michaels back into the cage. Maynard follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Michaels to the canvas! Maynard pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Michaels has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
