Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Karev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle comes to the cage accompanied by Wasted. Oleg Karev will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Kyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Oleg Karev!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karev defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kyle.
Kyle scores with a jab to the body.
Karev fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kyle.
Karev fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kyle is out of range.
Karev scores with a nice head shot.
A head kick misses from Kyle.
Kyle misses with a body kick.
Karev throws a front kick that sends Kyle stumbling back into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kyle.
Kyle throws a head kick that misses.
Kyle shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kyle pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Karev goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Mark Kyle has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kyle takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kyle is breathing heavily.
Kyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karev.
Karev lands a nice looking body kick.
Karev connects with a body shot that sends Kyle's belly button to the back.

Karev drops Kyle with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kyle looks back up at him and smiles so Karev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Karev goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Karev darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Karev misses with a kick to the body.

Karev drops Kyle with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kyle looks back up at him and smiles so Karev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Kyle is rocked!
Karev blocks the body kick.
Karev pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Karev misses with a double jab.
Karev connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kyle checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Karev looks to throw a body kick
and Kyle counters with a shoot takedown. Karev fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kyle missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Karev tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Karev utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kyle throwing strikes but missing.
Kyle won't allow Karev to sweep him here.
Kyle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Karev works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kyle is fighting to break Karev's control of his arms but Karev is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kyle distracts Karev with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Karev avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kyle working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Karev wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kyle throws a strike but Karev rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kyle will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oleg Karev dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kyle checks a leg kick.
Karev falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kyle counters with a nice leg kick.
Karev lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kyle's sensitive parts.
Karev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kyle throws a jab when Karev was well out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Karev!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kyle throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Karev counters with a solid body kick.
Karev dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kyle. That did some damage!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kyle takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Karev is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Karev tries to land a leg kick but Kyle saw it coming and moves away.

Kyle with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Karev to score with a decent uppercut.
Kyle wants to slow Karev down by chopping away at his legs.
Nice straight punches there by Karev. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Karev.
Karev throws a wild body kick that Kyle sees coming a mile off.
Karev has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Kyle lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kyle throws a sloppy head kick and Karev moves out of range easily.
Karev smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Oleg Karev is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karev lands a nice hook to Kyle's body. Kyle takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A thudding body kick lands there by Karev!
Karev fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kyle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oleg Karev seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Karev is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kyle takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kyle crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Karev - the referee stops the clock and Kyle gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Karev. Kyle manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kyle stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Karev.
Kyle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karev.
Karev lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Karev lands a front kick.
Karev turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Karev feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kyles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Karev drops Kyle with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kyle looks back up at him and smiles so Karev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Kyle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Karev ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karev darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Kyle's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Karev before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Oleg Karev!
After winning the bout, Oleg Karev thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
