1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Super Man! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fist throws a series of punches but Man moves out of range. Fist staying out of range there. Fist defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Man. Fist looks to land a combination but Man avoids it well. Man looks for a takedown but Fist sprawls well. Fire Fist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Man. Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fist pinned against the cage. Fist gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Man slips a jab and a cross from Fist.

Man fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fist avoids it really well and circles away.

Man tries to break the clinch but Fist is controlling the position. Man tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Man shoots for a double leg takedown but Fist sprawls well. He's pushed Man's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Man. Fist scores with a one two! Man had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Man bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fist's head backwards. Fist misses with a series of wild punches.

and Man counters with a three punch combo that has Fist backing up. Fist nods at Man to acknowledge the strikes. Man tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fist swivels and escapes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fist throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Man. Man closes the distance and clinches up with Fist, looking for a takedown. Man pushes Fist against the cage but Fist circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fist rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Man moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Man fails with an attempt to clinch.
Man dives in and grabs Fist's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fist pushes down on Man's head and hops out. Fire Fist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super Man. Fist throws a right hand that Man ducks under and follows up with a left that Man also avoids with ease. Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fist lands a head shot. Man throws a leg kick but Fist sees it coming and checks it nicely. Fist lands the left hand. Man looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A combination from Fist does no damage. Fist's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fist duly obliges. Man tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fist sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Man somewhat. Man avoids a punch combination nicely.

A frustrated look appears on Fist's face as he tries to break the clinch. Fist manages to break the clinch.

Man tries to close the distance and clinch but Fist swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fist takes a swing at Man's ribcage but misses. Man shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fist sprawls well. Fist wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Man gets slowly back to his feet. Fist looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fist stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fist wants it to stay on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Fire Fist will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Fist postures up.
Fist knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Man on the ground. Man will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Man takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fist trying to control but Man is working from the bottom. Fist is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Man is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Fist wants to stand but Man has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Man controlling Fist's posture. Man not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fist has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Man doesn't manage to clinch there - Fist circles away.

Man tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fist manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
