Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gotrek Felix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dagonet McLoughlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLoughlin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kutt Calhoun- Self Preservation . I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gotrek Felix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dagonet McLoughlin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLoughlin moves out of range of the body kick.
Felix misses with a jab, cross combination.
Felix throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McLoughlin's waist but McLoughlin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Felix off to one side.
McLoughlin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Felix's head backwards.
Felix throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McLoughlin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
McLoughlin misses with a jab, cross combination.
McLoughlin misses with a jab, cross combination.
McLoughlin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Felix is able to avoid easily.
Felix fails with the takedown.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice takedown defense from McLoughlin. No joy for Felix on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gotrek Felix. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Felix checks a leg kick.
Felix is looking to land body kicks.
Felix throws a head kick but McLoughlin moves out of range.
McLoughlin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Felix throws a right and a left that McLoughlin avoids nicely.
Felix scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Dagonet McLoughlin has been cut.
Felix rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McLoughlin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Some bone on bone action there as McLoughlin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Gotrek Felix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McLoughlin throws a right hand that Felix ducks under and follows up with a left that Felix also avoids with ease.
Felix lands a front kick.
Felix throws a hook but McLoughlin blocks it.
Felix lets loose with a powerful body kick. McLoughlin will feel that in the morning.
McLoughlin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Felix.
Dagonet McLoughlin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Felix scores with a head kick.
McLoughlin avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
McLoughlin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McLoughlin throws a right hand that Felix ducks under and follows up with a left that Felix also avoids with ease.
McLoughlin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Felix pulls guard successfully.
Felix looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

McLoughlin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Felix has a closed guard, preventing McLoughlin from standing up.
Felix not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
McLoughlin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Felix has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McLoughlin has managed to get both his arms back between Felix's legs - danger averted.
Felix looking for a guillotine here but McLoughlin defends easily.
McLoughlin wants to stand but Felix is controlling his posture from full guard.
McLoughlin has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Felix to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! McLoughlin is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Felix pulls down on the head and he's put McLoughlin to sleep! This one is all over!
