Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Ngo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Ngo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Devon James! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ngo throws a body punch but James moves out of range. Ngo shoots in and drives through. James sprawls well. Ngo shoots in looking for a takedown. James tries to sprawl out of it but Ngo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. James manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ngo fails with the takedown letting James counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Ngo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ngo misses with a takedown attempt and James counters with a left and a right that stings Ngo. James is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ngo. Ngo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ngo lands a couple of digs. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ngo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ngo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ngo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ngo is sitting in close to James's body. James has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ngo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ngo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by James.
