Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dean Martin - LITTLE OLD WINE DRINKER ME . The key to victory for Tony Jaa has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Martin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martin dives in and scores a takedown into Jaa's guard.
Jaa wants to stand and escape but Martin is having none of it.
Jaa keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully.

Jaa manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Martin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Martin tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Jaa is not content to let Martin control the position.

Martin is looking to take a break and control but Jaa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jaa pushes Martin away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Martin gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Martin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jaa, who protects the arm well.

The referee asks Martin politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Martin prefers to stall for the moment though.

Martin decides to stand back up. Martin steps back and let's Jaa get back to his feet.
Jaa leaves Martin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jaa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Martin circles away quickly and effectively.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Jaa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Martin shoots in for a takedown but Jaa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Martin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jaa to the mat! Jaa manages to get full guard.
Jaa wants to stand up but Martin is controlling him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Martin stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Jaa moves into range and clinches up with Martin.
Martin is pushing Jaa up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Martin is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jaa is keeping busy.

Jaa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jaa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt - Jaa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jaa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Martin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jaa uses from the top position.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jaa.

Martin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jaa walks away with a smile on his face. Martin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Martin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jaa was covering up waiting for the punch and Martin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Jaa.
I think Jaa has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
