Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Lick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis has chosen Out Of Space by Prodigy as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Lick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Ellis!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lick tries to get to full guard but Ellis has control of the leg.
Ellis trying to control the action but Lick is working from the bottom.
Ellis missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Ellis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ellis is looking to take a break and control but Lick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lick wants to get back to his feet.
Ellis is nestled in close to Lick, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ellis is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Ellis is looking to stall here but Lick recovers full guard.
Lick has momentary wrist control but Ellis slips an elbow through the middle.

Ellis landing with the ground and pound.
Ellis pushes down on Lick's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ellis not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Ellis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lick is breathing heavily.
Ellis passes to side control.
Lick is not content to let Ellis control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ellis moves into full mount!
Lick takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Ellis working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Lick is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ellis lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Oh Lick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lick is squirming around, avoiding Ellis's attempts to control the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Ellis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lick can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Ellis tries to control but Lick wriggling away.
Ellis postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Lick badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Ellis around the waist but Ellis pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Ellis is the winner by TKO! Ellis jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
