Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerard Esqueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CId Pollendina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Esqueda comes to the cage accompanied by Cant del Barça. Pollendina is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mohamed's theme tune. Gerard Esqueda could well score a knockout today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Esqueda stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Esqueda connects with a solid leg kick.
Pollendina scores with a punch to the head.
Pollendina throws an overhand right that lands on Esqueda's shoulder, as Esqueda tries to avoid the shot.
Pollendina shoots in looking for a takedown but Esqueda manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pollendina's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Esqueda throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pollendina takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
