Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Clemons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Macovei Narcis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narcis leaves Clemons with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Narcis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clemons as he avoids it easily.

Narcis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Clemons defends it well.

Narcis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Clemons is just riding it out for now. Narcis eventually gives up the hold.

Clemons keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Narcis swats away the attempt to clinch by Clemons.

Narcis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Narcis slips a nice elbow through Clemons's hands, connecting with Clemons's forehead.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Narcis connects with a nice short shot to Clemons's temple.
Clemons is looking to control Narcis's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Clemons avoid being mounted?
Narcis takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Narcis throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Clemons to regain full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Clemons is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Narcis wants to pass the guard but Clemons is keeping the position.
Narcis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clemons manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Narcis has Clemons in his guard.
Narcis has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Clemons doesn't defend quickly enough and Narcis has managed to lock this one up! Can Clemons escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Narcis on a fantastic submission victory.

After winning the bout, Macovei Narcis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
